There
was so much brainpower with this group it is hard to put into words. We had
to have 2 Calculus classes to accommodate these warriors. They knew how to
have fun but knew how to go to work. Many of these students would go on to
pass the AP BC Exam. It was the first year we were able to offer it at MCHS. |

It
was a sad year in a way for me as I had spent four years with The 4 Horsemen
and my daughter Summer. I had them in class for 4 years. The 4 Horsemen were
Chris Hayes, John Sims-Jones, Daniel Kasper, and JB Parker. They would pass
over 25 AP Exams. |

Daniel,
Chris, and John would finish in the top ten in The Calculus Competition and
complete Governor's School Programs. The Calculus Team would capture 2nd
place overall at The TMTA. Daniel Kasper would take 1st Place and win a
$1,000 award. |

My
dear friend Mr. Chris Hayes and I take one last final swing before he goes
off to his great adventures. Chris is one of the great minds in our country
as he spent time researching at CERN and now is at Stony Brook University in
New York. |
